As we look ahead to schools reopening and in-person instruction, prepare them with the tools they need to succeed.
Growing your child’s executive functioning (EF) skills has always been fundamental in raising independent and successful children. The past school year has been very difficult for our kids. Many find themselves less motivated, less focused, spending more time on their screens, and unable to take care of all of their responsibilities. This past year, due to the pandemic, executive functioning struggles in children were far more apparent to parents and teachers as students were expected to structure themselves and manage their time like never before. While executive functioning skills have always been important, they are far more critical now as our kids need to catch up as they transition back to the classroom.
POWER – The Kahane Center’s innovative cognitive skills program specifically targets the various aspects of executive functioning that are crucial for successful performance in school and beyond.
