Postdoctoral Program
The Kahane center welcomes applications for a one-year, professional post-doctoral training program designed to help psychologists further grow their skills for a successful career in child and adolescent psychology. The Kahane Center post-doc fellow will have the opportunity to receive excellent individual and group supervision, be part of weekly multidisciplinary team meetings and provide evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Clinical training includes individual, dyadic, family and group work, as well as the potential to be involved in teacher training and an innovative SEL/ Executive Function curriculum. The post-doctoral program at The Kahane Center will provide postdoctoral clinical hours and supervision needed for licensure. Opportunities for long-term full-time or part-time employment to qualified clinicians following licensure are available.The position provides excellent compensation and flexible work hours. Currently the position is hybrid at our state-of-the-art Covid-safe facility in Englewood, NJ.

Internships
The Kahane Center offers a year-long internship suitable for predoctoral and graduate level students. Candidates should have some background in working with children and adolescents, excellent writing skills and some research experience. The intern will have the opportunity to assist in research, and be trained to teach a unique SEL program for children and adolescents who struggle with executive functioning. Interns also create new content for social media pages and strategies for outreach. The intern will also have the opportunity to participate in team meetings and be exposed to clinical work along with senior licensed doctoral level psychologists and will receive training and supervision.
